Meeting Platform Leave No One BehindDatum: 01 april 2021
In 2015, 193 countries adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future – where no one is left behind. In practice, achieving this goal by 2030 means: taking explicit action to end extreme poverty, hold back inequalities and fast-track progress for the furthest behind. Enough reasons for Partos to establish the Dutch Platform Leave No One Behind.
The Leave No One Behind Platform consists of organisations and actors in the field of development cooperation. They develop, share and promote knowledge, innovative solutions and policies that contribute to ending poverty and exclusion. The Platform is planning to meet regularly to discuss several issues related to the topic Leave No One Behind.
The upcoming meeting will take place on April 1st. The goal of this meeting is for the new members of the platform to get to know each other, and for the existing members to re-connect and share information about the current situation in their organisation concerning LNOB. After a first explorative meeting in January 2021, a core group has been set up, which will steer the activities of the LNOB platform this year, of course, based upon the input of the members. During the event on April 1st, the participants will be able to exchange good practices and make a deep dive into certain tools and ways of working that are already used within the different organisations.
Date: Thursday, April 1st 2021
